Guidelines for securing containers to ground

Examples of securing techniques

Horizontal pads
Matarial needed
Eye Bolts/anchor bolts
Aluminum cable 50x3x16
U bolt clamps & nuts ½ inch
Expanding Rod (loop thumb buckle ½ “ x 17"

Welded Rebar
The use of steel bars at corners of the container that are imbedded at least 18” into the foundation, then welded and fastened to the container.

Guy Rods Stay Wires
The use of guy rods inserted in ground to depth of minimum of 18 inches with aluminum cables attached and tensioned to guy rod up to the top of the container on four sides.
